I'm late posting AGAIN!  I really am trying to get my vegetable garden sorted out, but with all the rotten weather we had, then going up to Scotland and even more wet and cold weather after I returned, I've only really got to grips with it this past week!  So I've been trying to catch up, in between feeding, watering, cleaning out and chatting to the chickens!!!!!  But at least my seeds are coming up nicely in the big greenhouse, and many things I've potted on.  Really need more greenhouse space, but the other 2 greenhouses are acting as sheds at the moment because my sheds turned into brooders! Eu estou postando tarde AGAIN! Eu realmente estou a tentar que a minha horta resolvido, mas com todos os podres que tínhamos condições meteorológicas e, em seguida, subindo para a Escócia e ainda mais húmido e frio depois voltei, só que eu realmente comecei a dominar a sua aplicação desta semana passada! Então, eu tenho estado a tentar recuperar o seu atraso, entre em alimentação, abeberamento, de limpeza e conversando com os frangos para !!!!! Mas pelo menos o meu sementes são muito bem-vindo nas grandes estufa, e muitas coisas que eu tenho em vaso. Really estufa necessitam de mais espaço, mas os outros 2 estufas estão agindo como abrigos, de momento, porque o meu transformados em abrigos brooders!

I've also got my potatoes in now and some are beginning to show, and all my onions.  I've got 2 more sections of veg garden to dig up, getting rid of all the docks and nettles and dandelions that have grown to about 2 foot, and once that is done, hubby will rotavate it for me, but he doesn't like digging, in fact he doesn't like gardening much, he'd rather be making things with his bits of wood saved from the skip!  Like the extension to the brooder shed, which is now 14ft x 5ft instead of 7ft x 5ft!  The walls are made of matching (like T&G!) and the frame is cut down old door frames, and the roof and floor are made from old pallets and recovered with new felt.  the only wood he had to buy was 5 strips for the new door as the bits we had weren't long enough! Eu também tenho a minha batata no momento e algumas estão a começar a mostrar, e todos os meus cebolas. Eu tenho mais 2 seções de vegetais jardim para escavar para cima, se livrar de todas as docas e urtigas e dandelions que têm aumentado para cerca de 2 pé, e uma vez que é feito, hubby irá rotavate-lo para mim, mas ele não gosta cavando, na verdade ele não gosta muito jardinagem, ele prefere ser tornar as coisas com seus pedaços de madeira guardado a partir do skip ! Tal como a extensão para a brooder barracão, que está agora 14ft x 5 pés em vez de 7ft x 5 pés! As paredes são feitas de correspondência (como T & G!) E da moldura é cortar as antigas aros, e do teto e piso são feitas a partir de paletes e recuperou a velha nova sentiu. apenas a madeira que ele tinha de compra foi de 5 tiras para a nova porta como os bits que tivemos não foram suficientemente longo!

Hubby has put in another door and window so that if we ever need to separate it into 2 brooders, we can just put a partition through the middle.  We rescued some guttering and downpipe too, so hubby is going to fix it up along the back and route the rainwater into one of my water butts! A friend of a friend has also asked for some of our meat chicks, and she wanted 40!!!!!!  As she lives in Surrey and doesn't get up here very often.  The only thing is, the meat chicks are only 8 weeks old, plus I do have other people who want to try them too!  Anyway, I sorted out 19 yesterday, who weigh between 2.5 and 3kgs!  So she'll just have to make do with them.  they are segregated from the others at the moment, as we've had to put them on finisher pellets.  This is because the rearer pellets they were eating have an anticoccidial in, and the finisher is plain pellets and it gets the anti coccidial out of their systems before you cull them.  Hubby was over the moon that she wanted so many until I pointed out to him that by next weekend when she is coming up here, they will only be 9 weeks old and so not all of them will be up to weight.  Some of them still only weigh 2kgs, but they seem to get bigger before my eyes!!!! Um amigo de um amigo, também pediu para alguns dos nossos pintos de carne, e ela queria 40 !!!!!! Como ela mora em Surrey, e não chegar até aqui com muita frequência. A única coisa é, as carnes são apenas pintos 8 semanas de idade, além de eu ter outras pessoas que querem experimentar eles também! De qualquer maneira, eu resolvido 19, ontem, que pesam entre 2,5 e 3kgs! Então ela vai fazer apenas tem que fazer com eles. Eles estão separados dos demais no momento em que, como nós tivemos a colocá-los em acabadora pellets. Isso porque o criador pellets eles foram comendo anticoccidiano em ter um, e do módulo de acabamento é liso e pellets que obtém os direitos anti coccidial fora de seus sistemas antes de se abater eles . Hubby foi durante a lua que ela queria tantas até que eu a ele que apontam para a próxima semana, quando ela está vindo até aqui, eles só serão 9 semanas de idade e por isso nem todos eles serão de até peso. Alguns deles continuam a pesar apenas 2kgs, mas eles parecem estar cada vez maiores perante os meus olhos!!

Here are a couple of pics of the meat chicks.  Most of the white ones weigh 2.5kgs, with some being slightly over and some slightly lower.  Most of the coloryields are 2 - 2.5 kgs and the Mastergris between 2 and 3kgs!!!!  I must admit that I haven't yet weighed the Babcock's, but I will do tomorrow and I'll let you know with pics what their weights are now too!
