Hello, I'm Ann Clarke and this is all about how I keep poultry in the wilds of Lincolnshire with my hubby, my dog Penny and Sooty the cat (now deceased) You might know me by my net name of Grannie Annie.
We've been lucky enough to end up with half an acre where we grow our own vegetables, make our own wine, bread, sausages and jam (what more do you need?) and keep our hens and turkeys.
We started out keeping rescued ex-battery hens on our holding and now we are growing on chicks to sell as well as eggs from the gate
