I really don't know where the time goes you know.  I didn't realise it was 2 whole weeks since I posted last! Realmente no sé donde va el tiempo sabes. No me di cuenta de que fue de 2 semanas desde que envió el pasado!

Well, the turkey news first I think.  The turkey babies are now over 2 weeks old, and although I don't know their hatching weights, last week they weighed between 90 and 150 gms, but this week they are between 200 and 260gms!  They are doing well, even though we lost 6, but turkeys are harder to rear than chicks as you have to keep the temperature much higher and even a degree can be fatal they reckon at the hatchery! Bueno, el pavo noticias creo. El pavo los bebés están ahora más de 2 semanas de edad, y aunque no sé su eclosión pesos, la semana pasada que pesa entre 90 y 150 gramos, pero esta semana se sitúan entre 200 y 260gms! Ellos lo están haciendo bien, aunque hemos perdido 6, pero los pavos son más difíciles de criar a los polluelos que usted tiene que mantener la temperatura mucho más elevada e incluso un cierto grado puede ser fatal que contar en la sala de incubación! I've also got a poult with sticking out legs like that meat chicken I had. He también tiene un poult con que salen las piernas, como la carne de pollo que he tenido.

Poor little thing only weighs 100 gms, and when I found her she was being stood on by another poult!  At the moment she is lording it in a box lid on our coffee table, and is eating and drinking fine now she can reach the dishes, but she can't walk.  In a commercial setting she would have been killed, but I have a friend on the allotment site who lives in North Wales who is going to have her. Pobre cosa pequeña pesa sólo 100 gramos, y cuando me pareció que ella se fue por otro poult! En este momento ella es lording en una caja de tapa en nuestra mesa de café, y comer y beber bien ahora puede llegar a los platos , pero ella no puede caminar. En un establecimiento comercial que habría sido asesinado, pero tengo un amigo en el sitio de créditos, que vive en el norte de Gales que va a tener de ella.

Another friend is going to take her and some young ducks on part of the journey, then there will be a relay until they get to anglesey, where I hope she will live out her life happily. Otro amigo se va a ella y algunos patos jóvenes en una parte del viaje, entonces habrá un relé hasta que llegar a Anglesey, donde espero que vivir su vida feliz.

She is quite bright and breezy and is eating and drinking okay now she can reach the dishes. Ella es muy luminoso y ventilado y es comer y beber bien ahora se puede llegar a los platos.

I almost went upstairs to the box of old Lego and made her a cart out of lego as we have the wheels!!!!  But apart from using her wings as oars, she has no means of propulsion. Me subió las escaleras casi a la caja de Lego de edad y hacen de ella una cesta de lego como hemos las ruedas! Pero, además de utilizar sus alas como remos, no tiene medios de propulsión.

You can't see from this picture, but her legs are very badly twisted from the knee down, and its not splayed leg, or I could maybe fix that. No se puede ver en esta imagen, pero sus piernas están muy mal torcido hacia abajo de la rodilla y su pierna no splayed, o tal vez yo podría arreglar eso.

I heard today from one of the young couples who had some of our Babcock's that they got their first egg!  So that's not bad at 17 weeks eh????  So I'm really pleased about that.  They are over the moon too as they weren't expecting any for another couple of weeks!  Some more went to their new homes last weekend and another 8 this weekend, so that only leaves 40 to go.  Then it means another good cleaning out of that end of the big henhouse, so theAmberlinks can spread out a bit more now they are growing bigger! He escuchado hoy de una de las parejas jóvenes que habían algunos de nuestros Babcock de que obtuvieron su primer huevo! Así que no es mala en 17 semanas eh? Así que estoy realmente contento por eso. Se trata de más de la luna también como no se espera para cualquier otro par de semanas! The Amberlinks are 6 weeks old now, and 68 of them are already reserved for people, many of whom have already had chickens from us!  So that's a good recommendation isn't it?  I'm really chuffed that everyone is so pleased with their chickens. A week ago, our layers shed got red mite in it.  It isn't in the shed where the Amberlink chicks are thank goodness, as that is the shed that was creosoted last year.  I sprayed inside and outside with Jeyes fluid, then the next day with poultryshield, but they had even got into the metal and plastic nestboxes, hiding down between the rivetted bits where the perches are!  So I took them right out and sprayed them several times over a couple of days, then I ran out of poultryshield after another dosing, but new stock arrived today, so that's my first job tomorrow!  More Jeyes, more poultrysheild, and possibly putting them into the smaller shed once its been creosoted and aired out, then creosoting the laying shed too!  I hate red mite!  Makes me itch, just thinking about them!!!! Hace una semana, nuestra nave en las capas se ácaro rojo en él. No está en la nave en que los polluelos se Amberlink gracias a Dios, que es la nave que fue tratado con creosota último año. Rociarse dentro y por fuera con Jeyes líquido, entonces el con poultryshield día siguiente, sino que incluso ha penetrado en el metal y plástico nestboxes, escondidos entre los rivetted perchas bits donde el åre! Así que tomó la derecha y roció varias veces durante un par de días, entonces me quedé sin poultryshield tras otra dosis, pero las nuevas acciones llegó hoy, por lo que es mi primer trabajo mañana! Jeyes Más, más poultrysheild y, posiblemente, su puesta en los más pequeños una vez que su nave se creosota y al aire, entonces, por la que se creosotado la nave también! Odio rojo ácaro! Me pica, sólo pensar en ellos!
