…… with this posting! …… Con este anuncio! But I've been really busy out in the garden trying to catch up now the weather has improved a bit!  I hadn't done anything in the garden or greenhouse, what with spening so much time with the chicks and chickens!  But over the pst couple of weeks, I've got loads of seeds germinted and growing in the greenhouse, got 3 plots dug and weeded and 2 of them planted with late potatoes.  (Well the potatoes are earlies and maincrop, its just me that's late!!)  Another plot ready for my onions which are also late, and my bbenas and peas! Pero he estado realmente ocupado en el jardín tratando de ponerse al día ahora el clima ha mejorado un poco! Yo no había hecho nada en el jardín o invernadero, con lo que spening tanto tiempo con las gallinas y pollos! Pero en los pst par de semanas, tengo montones de semillas germinted y creciente en el invernadero, se excavó parcelas 3 y weeded y 2 de ellos plantados con fines de patatas. (Bueno, las patatas son earlies y maincrop, su justa conmigo en que la tarde! ) Otra parcela listo para mi cebolla que también son fines, y mi bbenas y guisantes!

Anyway, so, last Thursday the meat chicks were 7 weeks old and some of them went off the scale on my kitchen scales, so they are over 2.27 kgs!!!!  I wanted to try one this coming week at 8 weeks old, but hubby says I have to give them a week on poultry finisher first, so it will be next week now!!! De todos modos, por lo que, el pasado jueves la carne de los pollos fueron 7 semanas de edad y algunos de ellos se desarrolló la escala en mi cocina escalas, por lo que son más de 2,27 kgs! He querido probar uno esta semana a las 8 semanas de edad, pero hubby dice que tengo que darles una semana en las aves de corral acabado en primer lugar, por lo que será la semana que viene ahora!

The Babcock's may have been tiny when we got them, but they are catching up fast!  when I weighed them last Thursday, they averaged 175 gms, so 70gms more than the previous week!  They are getting tall now, and they love being in the big henhoue.  They still run around as if they are training for the Olympics! Babcock's puede haber sido diminutos cuando llegamos ellos, pero ellos están ganando terreno rápidamente! Cuando yo les pesó el jueves pasado, un promedio de 175 gramos, por lo que 70gms más que la semana anterior! Ellos están recibiendo ahora de altura, y les encanta estar en el henhoue grande. Siguen correr alrededor como si fueran de formación para los Juegos Olímpicos!

I've had several pecking agin, but after a few days in a big box in the dining room and smothered in vaseline and liquid parafin, they are all back together and looking okay at the moment! He tenido varios agin picoteo, pero después de unos días en una gran caja en el comedor y cubiertas en vaselina líquida y parafin, son todos de nuevo juntos y mirando bien por el momento!

Not the best of photo's that last one,you can hardly see them, but at lest they have loads of room to run around, and as soon as hubby rotavates their run, they can go and get some proper fresh air! No es el mejor de la foto que la última, apenas se puede ver, pero al menos tienen un montón de espacio para correr por ahí, y tan pronto como su hubby rotavates plazo, que pueden ir y obtener buen aire fresco!

Well, I can't think of much else to talk about at the moment, but they'll all be another week older in 2 days, so more updates then!  Thanks for reading, and thanks for all the phone calls, I'm just sorry I don't hae anymore chooks ready yet!!!!
