Good, bad and more good news today!

The first good news was that all the meat chicks are doing well!  We transferred them to one end of the big henhouse today, and they weighed in between 650 and 800 gms, which means that some of them are double last week's weight!

Here they are enjoying the bigger house!

The bad news was that when I called the hatchery, they said that one of their hatchings was short today, and there is no hatch tomorrow, and next week's surplus chicks will have to fill this week's shortfall, so there won't be any surplus until Monday week!

The next lot of good news was they called back a few minutes later and said I can have 125 Babcock B380 chicks today!!!  So we quickly went out and cleaned out the brooder, and disinfected it, then shot down and picked these little darlings up!!!!
