Easter Chicks!

I don't want to be a killjoy, but after receiving an email from someone, could have been a child, asking if I have any chicks over Easter, and hearing other people mention that someone would like an easter chick for each of their children!!!

Please can I ask that unless you have the right equipment and can keep the chicks at the correct temperature and feed them the right food and give them plenty of fresh drinking water, don't even consider getting chicks.

Yes, they are cute, and I love my chicks to bits, but a cold draught, or not warm enough, or too warm, they can die VERY easily, and its not only cruel to the chicks, but very upsetting for the children.

Raising chicks IS a responsibilty not to be undertaken lightly!
