New Chicks Ordered!

Last Wednesday, I ordered 60 meat chicks.  They were being set on Thursday, so in 3 weeks time, we will have more babies to look after.

Simon the breeder does 3 different sorts of meat chicks, a white, faster growing one, a medium term brown one and a slightly longer growing Greyish chick.  So we are having 20 of each to see how they go.  Originally they were just for ourselves, but several people have mentioned that they would like some once they are made oven ready, so we will see how they go!!!!

I'll let you know more when they arrive!  Also we will be getting some more layer chicks, but not sure if I want 300 again!!!!!  And hubby wants to get some turkeys to rear for Christmas too!!!!!   So watch this space!!!!!!
